We are delighted to introduce our wonderful staff. You will find great pleasure and comfort in knowing we have the most amazing teachers that will engage and teach your children the wonders of the world. It is a privilege for us to share in a child’s early childhood education, and it is our hope that ACP will meet the physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs of your child.
Ms. Amy – Director
Hello! My name is Amy Kellesvig and I am the director for Agape Christian Preschool. I was the on the ACP Board of Directors from 2008 until 2014, when I took over the role of Director. I am I lifelong member of the Mount Horeb Community and have been a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1994. My husband and I have two children, both alumni of ACP, who have wonderful memories of their early childhood time spent at ACP. I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with such amazing teachers and children each day. I look forward to spending many years here and building on the foundation that was established in May of 1990.
Ms. Wendy – Music
Hello, my name is Wendy Rasmussen, it is such a pleasure to share music with the children at Agape. Music has always been an exciting and integral part of my life. Along with teaching music in public schools and teaching private piano and string lessons out of our home, it is a pleasure to have been teaching music at ACP since September 2001. Engaging young children in music through movement, playing instruments, singing, listening creative dancing, and more…is so much fun! And beyond that, research shows that children show exponential growth both intellectually and psychologically when music, movement and language are integrated. I’m looking forward to a joyful and rewarding year of musical experiences with your children. Thank you for sharing your precious ones with us!
3K Teachers
Ms. Jenelle
My name is Jenelle Ollendick, and I have been teaching at Agape since 2007. I am very passionate about offering a classroom filled with lots of love, laughter, and learning. Watching each child blossom throughout the year in my classroom is simply wonderful! Long ago, my own two children attended Agape. Even though they are now adults, they both still talk about their days spent at ACP with a smile. It truly was a special time for them. I am blessed now to be the teacher for your child, and I am thrilled to be a part of their school journey!
Ms. Katy
Hi! My name is Katy Seibel and I am so excited to be starting this Agape adventure with you! I started teaching at Agape in the fall of 2019, but my family has had a connection to this wonderful school for many years! I first attended Toddler Time years ago with my oldest and happily watched all my children attend 3K and 4K, as well as a little substitute teaching. I live in Mount Horeb with my husband and our four children. I am so excited to be doing what I always said I would do when I grew up, be a teacher, and I couldn’t imagine a better place to do it! I am very excited to be a part of your child’s school adventures!
4K Teachers
Ms. Anita
My name is Anita Symons and I have been teaching 4K at ACP since the fall of 2022. Before my time at ACP, I taught 4K for 12 years in the Stoughton School District. My husband, two children and I enjoy biking, hiking, being outdoors and spending time together. I really enjoy working with 4K students and their families. The students are so eager to learn and try new things. I love watching them achieve their goals of building the biggest block tower or a new art masterpiece. As a teacher, I feel it is my job to make sure that each child grows socially, emotionally and academically to become lifelong learners.
Ms. Cathy
My name is Cathy Fountas and I am the assistant teacher for the 4K classes. I have been teaching at ACP since 2009. My husband and I have a daughter and son who are both Agape alumni. I truly believe that every child is a treasure, and I consider it a gift to be part of their precious lives.
